1.
SLOGA, Doboj
2.
FK SARAJEVO3.
FK ŽELJEZNIČAR, Sarajevo
4. (two teams with the same number of points)
FK SLOBODA, Tuzla and
FK LEOTAR, Trebinje
There are still 41 teams in this ranking, so we paid a little more attention to some other details. For example, SFK LIBERO from Goražde and FK ROMANIJA from Pale are the only two teams among the top ten that have won medals at two tournaments this season.
BAMBI SOKO from Višegrad and FK BRNJACI have each won three medals, and are in 11th place and tied for 14th place, respectively. The case of DERBY from Sarajevo is also interesting: they are tied for 14th place and have won two tournaments.
We invite you to look for similar interesting details yourself at

GENERATION 2015.The situation is similar in the age group one year younger. Our ranking includes 47 teams, and their positions did not change over the weekend. As last week, the following teams occupy the top five places:
1.
FK ČELIK, Zenica
2.
OFK SPARTAK, Banja Luka
3.
ALFA, Trebinje
4.
SFK LIBERO, Goražde
5.
ROMANIJA, Pale
Interestingly, SFK LIBERO has won as many as three gold medals this season, making them the most successful team in this respect. The leading team, FK ČELIK, has two golds, but has accumulated more AFT points thanks to the ranking of the tournament they won (COERVER CUP).
The only other teams among the top twenty that have won two medals are ŠF ALFA from Trebinje, FK ROMANIJA from Pale, and FK RADNIK from Hadžići.
We hope this situation will change over the coming weekends. The easiest way to check is at this
LINK.
GENERATION 2016.
FK HERCEGOVAC from Bileća took third place at the 18th MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT “LJUBINKO AKŠAM”, moving up to 20th place in our ranking—a jump of as many as 20 places. There are currently 51 teams in this age group’s standings.
FK LEOTAR, the organizer of the aforementioned tournament, also made progress, winning first place and now sharing sixth position.
The top five teams in the standings are currently placed as follows:
1.
FK SARAJEVO2. (as many as three teams share this position)
BORAC, Banja Luka;
OFK SPARTA, Banja Luka;
FK ŽELJEZNIČAR, Sarajevo
3.
FK SOKOLAC, Sokolac
It is also interesting that FK SOKOLAC has four medals (three gold and one bronze), making them the most successful team in the age group by this measure.

GENERATION 2017.Last week, we wrote: “The most interesting thing among the 48 teams in this age group is that as many as three teams share first place.”
This week, we could say the same thing. In fact, if you look at the five highest-ranked teams, you’ll see that nothing has changed:
1. (the three teams already mentioned)
TANGO, Sarajevo;
TEMPO, Istočno Sarajevo and
FK SLOBODA, Tuzla
2.
FK BORAC, Banja Luka
3.
FK ŽELJEZNIČAR, Banja Luka
Still, we took a closer look at what might be interesting among the top 20 teams in the standings and noticed FK GLASINAC from Sokolac. This team is in eighth place and is the only one with four medals won this season.
BAMBI SOKO from Višegrad has also had a similar season, with two gold and one silver medal, and sits just one place ahead of GLASINAC in the age-group standings.
We’ll have to follow together at this
LINK to see whether the top of the standings will “sort itself out” or become even more complicated.
GENERATION 2018.There have been slight changes in the under-nine age group, but they are worth noting. First of all, a debutant has appeared in the rankings—the FK LEOTAR team, which won the tournament it hosted (MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT “LJUBINKO AKŠAM”) and thus moved into a tie for ninth place.
They share this position with TANGO from Sarajevo, which took second place at the same tournament and used the points earned to jump as many as 18 places.
There were no changes among the top five teams in the standings, so the order is as follows:
1.
ALFA, Trebinje
2.
BAMBI SOKO, Višegrad
3. (three teams share this position)
ROMANIJA, Pale;
SPARTA, Bratunac and
CITY ACADEMY, Sarajevo
There are now 42 teams in this age group’s rankings, and the season is getting more and more exciting. If you don’t believe us, check for yourself at this
LINK to see how things unfold over the coming weekends.
GENERATION 2019.There were no changes in the standings among the 21 teams in this age group. There were no tournaments or new points earned, so the top of the rankings remained unchanged:
1.
FK GLASINAC, Sokolac
2.
TEMPO, Istočno Sarajevo
3. (two teams share this position)
ROMANIJA, Pale and
SFK LIBERO, Goražde
4.
BAMBI SOKO, Višegrad
Interestingly, this is the only age group in which a team’s position in the standings matches its number of AFT points. This is the top-ranked team, FK GLASINAC from Sokolac, which has both the most points and the most tournament medals won this season.
They have won three gold medals and one bronze.
We eagerly await the coming weekends and hope to see changes in the teams’ rankings. Help us out and let us know if you notice anything else interesting at this
LINK.
GENERATION 2020.
This is the age group we are most often “lazy” about when covering all the countries in the region. The reason is clear—there are few tournaments for children under seven. So here, too, we’ll repeat what we pointed out last week:
“The youngest age group we are tracking in the AFT system this season has only three teams in the standings, so it will be difficult to list the top five without repeating one. Still, we won’t make anything up; instead, we’ll present the current standings as they are:
1.
SPORTISIMO, Bijeljina
2.
UNITED, Bijeljina
3.
PODRINJE, Janja
We’d love to see many more names in these standings before long, and that depends on both us and you. Send us information about tournaments, especially in this age group, so that together we can celebrate the achievements of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s youngest footballers at this
LINK.”
