AFT RANKING LIST BEFORE THE END OF SEPTEMBER

September has passed at the speed of a ball after the "free kicks" once taken by Siniša Mihajlović. By the time we turned around, the first control tasks in schools began to arrive, and tournaments lined up like on a conveyor belt.

From ILINDEN to RADENCI TROPHY, from “ĆIRA” to “PANTELIĆ ILIJA”, from Maribor, Mostar, Nikšić to Bijeljina, Raška, and Zlatibor – there was no place where they weren't running for the “ladybug,” where the joyful cheers of children and loud cheering from the stands were not heard.

We are most proud that throughout September we had the opportunity to follow those “small” tournaments that may not gather some “famous” names, but where excellent football is played and where the children, just like in the aforementioned tournaments, give their all to make their team, even if just slightly, better than their rivals.

If you look at our TOURNAMENT CALENDAR, and then select the option COMPLETED TOURNAMENTS, you will see that we truly made an effort to bring you as many “big” and “small” tournaments as possible, and if we missed any, it was not out of malice or laziness, but simply because we do not always manage to collect all the information about some tournaments.

That is why we invite you to contact us with information about the tournaments you will participate in, which you organize, or where you have been - and thus help us to learn as much as possible about that tournament.

And now, the reason we have “gathered” today:

Generation 2020 (U7)
During the past weekend, there were several tournaments in which the youngest footballers we follow participated, and we will highlight the TROPHY ILIJA PANTELIĆ in Novy Sad and SOCCER DAYS in Bijeljina, as they had the greatest impact on changes in our ranking list.

Moreover, the number of teams that earned AFT points in this age category has now increased to 33, and we hope that this “trend” will continue in October.

At the “top” of the generation is the unrivaled team MERIDIANA from Novy Sad. They were both the hosts and winners of the “ILIJA'S” tournament, so it is right to congratulate them on both counts.

On the other hand, on the ranking list, starting this week, their place among the top 20 teams has been found by JEDINSTVO from Rumenka, VOŠINI KLINCI from Novy Sad, SPORTISIMO, UNITED and SOCCER KIDS, all from Bijeljina, as well as PODRINJE from Janja.

It is worth mentioning the team FK SRBOBRAN which has significantly “improved” its position and is now among the top 10 on the generation table.

However, if you allow us, we would like to especially commend one small, but very persistent, brave, and fighting Maša for this weekend and this generation, who wears two pigtails and scores three goals for her team.

She and her teammates have shown true unity and justified the name of the club, which is led from the bench by a lady coach (which is not a common thing in children's football in these areas). So unique (in every sense) on this week's ranking list, they occupy the high second place.

After all, here is a LINK, so check how the table looks these days.

Generation 2019 (U8)
Out of 115 teams that have earned AFT points in this generation, currently, the best is MERIDIANA.

This “small” football school from Novi Sad has been creating “some new kids” (some of whom have matured into football masters) for over a decade, and the quality and continuity of their work is evident at the beginning of this season.

Alongside them, a huge point “jump” has been recorded by the teams TEMPO from East Sarajevo, ŠF EL MAESTRO and OLIMPIK from Belgrade, as well as AKADEMIJA BAMBI from Zrenjanin, who found their way among the best 20 this week through good performances at the CHIN CHIH CUP, and at the “TROPHY ILIJA PANTELIĆ”.

Thanks to their placement in this second tournament, the Novi Sad team GDM 021 has also found its place among the mentioned 20.

We are waiting for a new weekend and new tournaments in October, and until then we will follow this generation at THIS LINK and cheer for their good games to continue.

Generation 2018 (U9)
As for this generation, the positions of the top 20 teams have not changed significantly – with one big BUT – because we must not fail to mention that the team OFK ŠAMPION 2014, from Leskovac, simply “exploded” this weekend and (in a competition of as many as 270 teams in this generation) “jumped” as much as 100 places and reached the top twenty.

They achieved this thanks to their victory at the CHIN CHIN CUP, so Zlatibor will surely remain a pleasant memory for them.

We will also mention that the team CRVENA ZVEZDA appeared on the table, which won its first trophy of the season precisely at the “TROPHY” in Novy Sad.

We did not mention the very top of the table today, as there were no changes there, but you can check for yourself which teams are there if you follow this LINK

Generation 2017 (U10)
In this age group, there is also no significant “deviation” from last week's “picture.” We will only mention that thanks to the “PANTELIĆ”, the position of OLIMPIK from Belgrade has significantly improved, as well as the popular Novi Sad “Lale”; while FK SLOBODA, from Tuzla, almost “conquered” Zlatibor, but that was enough for them to be among the best 20 this week.

How great an achievement this is, is evidenced by the fact that 225 teams have earned AFT points this season in matches of this generation, and therefore every advancement is worthy of praise.

We will not praise the leading teams here either, not because they do not deserve it, but because you all already know who leads the generation, and if someone does not know, they can check HERE

Generation 2016 (U11)
Well, in this generation – there are also no major changes... It’s not that there hasn’t been playing, wanting, and fighting, but – a point here, a point there – the positions of the top 20 teams have not changed significantly.

Unquestionably first is ZVEZDA, followed by the Novi Sad “red and whites”, and behind them is AF ALEXANDRO from Skopje and so on to position 20, almost without surprises (compared to last week).

However, we say “almost,” because there is one team – FC DERBY, Novi Sad, which, despite its flatland “character,” climbed to the very top of Zlatibor (in its generation) and returned from the CHIN CHIN CUP crowned with glory and a gold medal.

We congratulate them on that, and we leave you THIS LINK to check where your favorite team from the U11 category is located, which now contains (an incredible) 296 clubs.

Generation 2015 (U12)
There were not many changes here that we could report to you. Namely, only three new names appeared in the top 50 teams – VARGA from Belgrade, FK SLOBODA from Tuzla, and SLOGA 94 from Bijeljina.

It is also worth noting that in just those top 50, this week, TEMPO from East Sarajevo, BORAC from Banja Luka, and JEDNOTA from Šid have also secured their place, while all other teams have either “slid” or “climbed” just a few places.

For the “believe it or not” section, it remains a fact that the top 20 teams literally remained in the same place they were last week.
